CHIKMAGALUR: The Datta Peeta Cave Shrine that collapsed in June 2008 due to heavy rains is set to be thrown open for the public in May, said sources in the Muzrai Department.After facing obstacles and legal ordeals, repairs of the cave shrine have been completed at last at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore. The shrine is likely to be thrown open after a team from the Archaeological Survey of India certifies it. The district administration says the final instalment will be released soon
