City boy wins Gundert Award

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Third standard student Agnivesh Jyotiraditya (Monu) has been selected for the Dr Hermann Gundert Award instituted by the Bharatha Samskarika Samithi for his literary output.An award committee comprising K P Udayabhanu, HANTEX managing director Adv K S A Haleem and Dr Anju said the boy was selected for the award for his works ‘Little Monu’s essays for friends’, ‘Little stories’, and ‘Malayalam poems and stories’.Agriculture Minister K P Mohanan and Youth Affairs Minister P K Jayalakshmi will present the award at the Press Club hall on December 28.
