Change Onam exam dates

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Balagokulam has sought a change in the dates of this academic year’s Onam examinations scheduled to begin on August 22. The Sreekrishna Jayanthi - Baladivas Festival, hosted by the organisation, falls on August 21 and is acclaimed to be the largest gathering of children in the State. The organisation fears that the participating children who will be engaged till late into the night on August 21 will find it difficult to perform well in the next day’s examination.The Muslim management schools have already rescheduled the examinations to September 15-20. Balagokulam general secretary V Harikumar has appealed that the same dates be followed in other schools as well.
