HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation is in discussion with the state government to appoint one coordinator between the premier investigating agency and the government to provide necessary information and files of various departments to the agency to ensure smooth probe into various high-profile cases.CBI joint director VV Lakshminarayana met chief secretary Pankaj Dwivedi here on Tuesday and discussed the matter.Emerging from the meeting, Lakshminarayana told reporters that he had discussed with the chief secretary appointment of a coordinator between the agency and the government to ensure that all necessary information and files were provided to them. Sources said that ever since the CBI commenced its investigation into various cases including the Emaar scam, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s alleged illegal assets and the illegal mining scam, it has been finding it difficult to obtain the needed files and information.
