New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team, which was on Thursday handed over the Nithari serial killing case, on Friday visited the house of horror along with the two accused—Moninder Singh Pandher and Surender Koli alias Satish.
The CBI sleuths visited the crime scene—the D-5 bungalow in Noida's Secor 31—and started examining and collecting evidence. A 16-member forensic expert team, which has been roped in by the CBI, are said to have picked up vital evidence from the crime scene.
The UP Police have already handed over all material evidence gathered from the crime scene to the CBI, along with 19 FIRs.
Earlier, the CBI questioned the duo at length. The agency even considered the possibility of subjecting the duo to polygraphic test, an exercise which could be used as a circumstantial evidence in the case.
The CBI is also likely to question the families of the victims and police officials involved in the case. The entire investigative process is being videographed for investigation purposes.
After undergoing forensic tests at Gandhinagar, the two accused were kept at an undisclosed location by the Noida Police on Thursday. They were then produced in a local court, which remanded them to 14 days' CBI custody.
