Casino Royale has already been voted one of the 20 most mistake-filled movies of the year.

Washington: It may have wowed critics and fans alike, but it seems that new Bond flick Casino Royale is riddled with so many “blatant” goofs, that it’s already been voted one of the 20 most mistake-filled movies of the year.

MovieMistakes.com creator Jon Sandys revealed that even though it was common for major releases to have some mistakes, they were normally only visible in the DVD version of the film.

Casino Royale however, has been another kettle of fish altogether.

"Normally for major releases it's only when they're on DVD that the really major things get noticed, but some of the mistakes spotted so far are really blatant," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

Here’s a list of some of the really noticeable errors that can be spotted easily in the movie, according to the website MovieMistakes.com

  • In the first poker scene, in the Bahamas, the dealer deals out the turn (fourth card) and says the man across from him "Check or raise". The man raises and Bond calls. The dealer deals out the river (fifth card), Bond thinks for a second and then checks. The action should have been on the man to Bond's right (who ended up betting his car) first, not on Bond.
  • In the shot where the Aston Martin rolls over, the cylinder cannon used to start the roll can be seen on the underside of the car flapping around.
  • When James Bond is supposedly in Montenegro, this was filmed in the Czech Republic - although they changed most of the signs they forgot some. When they are having a drink in the square there is a visible sign saying "Bily Kun" which means "White Horse" in Czech.
  • When Bond is trying to climb onto the aviation fuel truck, his trouser leg rides up and you can see the white protective suit the stuntman is wearing under the costume.
  • When Bond is being tortured in the seatless wicker chair, in one shot when you look at the right side of Bond's face the blood is running in an unbroken line down his face. The next shot where you see his face the blood has been smudged, but in the next shot, where you see his right cheek, the blood is running unbroken again. This happens a few times in this scene.
