New Delhi: US President George W Bush will visit Pakistan despite a terrorist attack in the port town of Karachi in which two persons were killed on Thursday.

"Terrorists and killers cannot prevent me from going to Pakistan," he told a press conference in New Delhi on Thursday.

He said he has been briefed that at least one US citizen was killed in the attack on the US consulate in Karachi.

Bush also extended his condolences to the people of Pakistan who suffered due to the attack.

"At least one US citizen a foreign service officer has been killed in the attack in Karachi," said Bush, who will be visiting Pakistan on Saturday.

"We will continue to work with President Pervez Musharraf in sharing information to bring terrorists to justice," said Bush.

At least four people have been killed in the blast, suspected to have been carried out by a suicide bomber in the parking area of Marriot Hotel near the highly fortified US Consulate.

Bush lauded Musharraf for waging a war against terrorism saying the Pakistani President had himself faced terror attacks on four occasions.

"They (terrorists) have no conscience. You cannot negotiate with them, you cannot reason with them," he said adding all free nations should come together to bring peace in the world.

Bush said terrorists want terror go on "but we cannot let that happen."
