The Kote Sri Anjaneyaswami Temple is a shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is located near KR Market in Bangalore. Established several centuries ago, Kote Sri Anjaneyaswami Temple has been a place of worship and solace for hundreds of devotees. It is believed that Anjaneya means the one who has mercy for the people who need help. When the devotees present their requests, Kote Anjaneya fulfils their wishes. On special days, special pooja, home and havan are performed here. Every Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, a special pooja is performed here.

Koti Anjaneya Swamy Temple is located 100 m from the KR Market Bus Stand and Metro Station. The doors of the temple are open from 6 AM to 10 PM. KR Market is well served by buses from all directions so the darshan of Anjaneyaswami is easily accessible.

The temple has a 75-foot tall Hanuman statue at the entrance which was inaugurated in May 2005. It is one of the idols of Hanuman dedicated by Sri Vyasaraja. Sri Vyasaraja was the Rajaguru of the historic Vijayanagar Empire. He was also the guru of the likes of Kanakadasa and Purandaradasa. Over five hundred years ago, Sri Vyasaraja dedicated 732 Hanuman idols across India.
