Benazir's husband says attack an 'act of govt'
Asif Ali Zardari holds Musharraf govt responsible for security lapse.

Dubai: The family of assassinated Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto left for Pakistan this evening from Dubai, hours after the former premier was assassinated in Rawalpindi.

Her husband Asif Ali Zardari and children would fly to Karachi, and then make their way to Rawalpindi.

“It is a serious lapse on the part of the (Pervez) Musharraf government as it could not ensure her safety even after the Karachi blast. The attack is an act of the government,” he told CNN-IBN before leaving.

Benazir and Zardari wed in 1987 and the children are aged 19, 17 and 14 respectively.
