THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Assam Revenue Minister Prithibi Majhi inaugurated a pavilion of ‘Incredible India’ at the Santhigiri Fest here on Monday. ‘Incredible India’ is a marketing campaign pursued by the Ministry of Tourism at the global level. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the Santhigiri Ashram had quickly grown into a pilgrim centre of national importance. Ashram joint secretary Swami Gurumithran Jnana Thapaswi, Santhigiri fest reception committee in-charge Swami Padmaprakasha Jnana Thapaswi and others were also present. The pavilion displays information regarding tourism spots and major pilgrim centres in India. Leaflets, video CDs and catalogues were also distributed to visitors. Theme-based visual presentations and video trailers are also displayed at the pavilion. A seminar on Spiritual and Wellness Tourism was inaugurated by Tourism Minster A P Anil Kumar later in the day. Tourism director Rani George and KTDC Chairman Vijayan Thomas were also present.
