Mumbai: If you thought Bachchan’s residences, Prateeksha and Jalsa, are the places where all the action is before the Aishwarya-Abhishek wedding then hear it from high profile neighbours at La Mer, the bride’s residence in Bandra.
“The whole building shakes because there are so many guests rehearsing,” ad man, Prahlad Kakkar says.
But the action is not only at Aishwarya’s house as Prahlad’s maids are glued to their windows to get a glimpse of the soon-to-be groom Abhishek Bachchan, who is a regular visitor.
“My servants scream when they see Abhishek. I sometimes wonder what just happened and then I am told that it’s just Abhishek Bachchan visiting Aishwarya,” says Prahlad in good humour.
But Prahlad doesn’t stop at that, he then goes on say, “Whatever Ash touches turns into gold so Abhishek will also turn into gold I guess.”
