AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday plunged into campaigning for the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, where he will face BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Arriving in Varanasi after a overnight train ride from Delhi, Kejriwal met a Muslim leader and also a group of traders and listened to their problems.
Party sources said that former Delhi chief minister was staying at a priest's house in Tulsi Ghat.
Kejriwal also held small roadside public meeting in various places in the Hindu holy city.
"He listened to the problems of people and explained to them what AAP has for them," a senior party leader said.
"There will be more public meetings from Wednesday," he added.
