AP Tribunals directive to ACPs

HYDERABAD: The controversy surrounding posting of ACPs appears to have come to an end on Saturday after AP Administrative Tribunal directed them to join respective posts immediately.The three ACPs -- Shankar Reddy, PV Muralidhar and ITVS Suryanarayana -- had approached the tribunal a few days ago. While Shankar Reddy took charge as ACP, Banjara Hills division, Muralidhar joined as ACP, Gopalpuram division and ITVS Suryanarayana as ACP, Abids.Certain politicians and police top brass had locked horns over posting of ACPs. Though ACPs had been given postings several days ago, they were unable to take charge following the tussle.
