Abducted Mysore boys found dead

MYSORE/CHIKBALLAPUR: The two students of Mahajan College, Mysore, who were kidnapped on Wednesday from Hunsur, were found brutally stabbed to death near Agalagurki on the outskirts of Chikballapur on Sunday morning.According to sources, Sudheendra (20), son of Mohan Kumar, a proprietor of a hardware shop, and Vignesh ( 20), son of Srinath, owner of a provision store, had left Hunsur to attend classes on Wednesday morning.The abductors, who had been watching their movements, arrived in a car and kidnapped them.The boys were reportedly taken to Gejjelegere near Mandya and from there the abductors had called up their parents and demanded Rs 5 crore. They also warned the parents against approaching the police or the media.However, the parents had approached the police and gave the telephone numbers from which they had received the calls.Hunsur police had taken up the case and were in search of the students.According to Shiva Kumar, Circle Inspector, Chikkballapur, the police received a call from a villager stating that two bodies were found with stab marks on the outskirts of Chikaballapur.
