Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Saturday claimed that 30 families owing allegiance to Congress today joined SAD in the Amritsar Lok Sabha seat.
The residents of Mahlian De Dera and Rodi villages in the Majitha Assembly segment were welcomed to SAD by Majithia.
The development took place when Congress candidate from Amritsar Amarinder Singh were campaigning in the area.
Majithia held a special function to welcome the Congress supporters and leaders.
