Allu Arjun is one of the biggest stars in the South Indian film industry. He has had an illustrious career and has been a part of some of the most popular films. The actor enjoys a massive fan following among the audience, and people flock to theatres to watch his films. Allu Arjun starred in one of the most popular films, Pushpa: The Rise. Recently, the actor won a National Award for his performance in the film. After receiving the award, a success party was organised for the actor award, and Allu Arjun became emotional for the director, Sukumar, at the party.
According to reports, Allu Arjun got emotional and expressed his gratitude to Sukumar at the party organised by the makers of Pushpa. Allu Arjun revealed that he had nothing to do with the role, and it was Sukumar who made him do the magic on screen. He added that Sukumar supported him throughout the process, and it was because of his efforts that he was able to receive such a prestigious award. Allu Arjun got emotional and further added that he completely surrendered to the director and understood his vision. He was responsible for portraying him as a hero on the screen.
Allu Arjun also added that Sukumar worked very hard for the film, and he went to Maredumilli, Andhra Pradesh, three times just to get the scene right. People were also impressed by Allu Arjun’s gesture of giving all the credit to Sukumar for the film.
Pushpa: The Rise became a huge hit among the audience. Currently, the second part of the film, Pushpa: The Rule, is being shot. Earlier, the film was expected to be released by the end of 2023, but it was revealed that it will hit theatres in mid-2024. The second part will see Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles.
Apart from that, Allu Arjun will be seen in an untitled project with popular director Trivikram Srinivas. This will be the fourth collaboration between the director and actor. He also has a film with Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in his pipeline.
