Draw a Medieval Knight
Learn to draw the human figure first; then, sketch the basic lines and shapes for the knight.
Add additional lines and shapes to complete the outline of the human body.
Sketch the knight's armor and clothing (research on different types of armor for references).
Sketch the shield, sword and additional armor pieces if needed.
Sketch the helmet (the Bucket type helmet is used here).
Use a fine tipped drawing tool to redefine the sketch (A Black Sketch or a fine tipped Marker).
Create outlines over the sketch.
Draw additional details such as chainmail, designs, accessories, etc.. if needed.
Erase and remove the sketch marks to produce a clean outlined drawing.
Add color to the artwork.
Draw a Fantasy Knight
Repeat steps 1 and 2 of Method 1.
Use your imagination and inspiration from comics, movies, games, anime, etc... and sketch your own armor design over the human figure.
Add your choice of weapon(s) and shield.
Sketch the shape of the helmet over the head.
Add details such as accessories, ornaments, cape, etc.
Use a smaller tipped drawing tool to refine the sketch.
Create outlines over the sketch.
Erase and remove the sketch marks to produce a clean outlined drawing.
Add color to the artwork. When you start drawing and painting, it is good to have a color wheel. It shows the colors opposite to each other. For example, green and red. In your painting, if red is too bright, use some green, and if green is too bright, you can add a little red to tone it down.
