The forest department has launched a search operation after a leopard was spotted in Narsinghpur village of Haryana’s Gurugram on Wednesday. The leopard entered a house in the Narsinghpur village triggering panic in the area.
A video of the wild beast running through the stairs of a multi-story building is doing rounds on social media. In the video, the leopard can be seen jumping in someone recording its movement from behind a glass panel of a door.

After the reports of leopard sightings surfaced, a team of forest department team reached the Narsinghpur village to catch the animal.
Gurugram Police team also reached the spot. Further details are awaited.
There have been several such instances over the past few years, triggering brutal episodes of human-animal conflict. A leopard was spotted in the DLF phase 5 area of Gurgaon in September 2022, while another was lynched in Mandawar in 2016.
