England made an exit from Europe twice in a week. If you thought that was the most hilarious take-away from their shocking 1-2 defeat in the Round-of-16 match against Iceland, then think again.
Gary Lineker thought that Roy Hodgson's team lost to a country that has “more volcanoes than professional footballers”, while Alan Shearer warned that he can't promise if he can control his anger.
And then there was a comparison between the salary drawn by Hodgson and that of Iceland manager Heimir Hallgrimsson, who is a part-time dentist.
