Beckham to decide on EPL return next month
QPR and Tottenham are among the Premier League clubs that have expressed an interest in Beckham.

London: David Beckham will make a decision on his future next month but is yet to hold any talks with Premier League clubs.

Goal.com understands Los Angeles Galaxy have offered the 36-year-old a one-year extension to his contract, which expires when the MLS season ends in November.

But the iconic midfielder is also attracting interest from English clubs - most notably QPR and Tottenham - and wants to assess all his options before signing the final contract of his glittering career.

While Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and QPR owner Tony Fernandes have both spoken publicly of their interest in signing Beckham in the January transfer window, the England international is yet to receive an approach and is concentrating on driving the Galaxy to MLS glory.

The American side are keen for Beckham to extend his stay at The Home Depot Centre following the success of his free transfer from Real Madrid in 2007, and he will weigh up his options before making a decision towards the end of October.

Beckham is desperate to fulfil his dream of playing for Great Britain at the Olympics next summer and believes he may have to return to the Premier League, despite previously insisting he could only play for Manchester United in England.

One option could be for the former Red Devils midfielder to agree a contract extension with the Galaxy on the provision that he is granted a loan move to Europe in January.

Beckham trained with Spurs at the start of the year but the Londoners could not reach an agreement to register him to feature in the Premier League.

Beckham remains one of the most recognisable faces in world football and English clubs believe his 120,000-Pounds-a-week wage demands would be offset by lucrative commercial opportunities.

Redknapp has recently said that he would "love" to bring the veteran midfielder back to the Premier League with Spurs.

Meanwhile, QPR owner Fernandes said: "It will be a massive statement of intent for us if we bring Beckham back in January."

"We have been led to believe he would like to be at a bigger club but it's for us to persuade him that we have bigger ambitions and he can be part of that."

"It may fail but nothing ventured, nothing gained."
