The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is set to release the WBJEE 2024 results soon. As per media reports, the scorecards could be released today, May 28, however, the board has yet to issue any official confirmation regarding the same. Candidates who participated in the exam can access their results on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in, once out.
The WBJEE score plays a pivotal role in securing admission to Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture courses at various universities and colleges across West Bengal. Candidates who took both papers will be eligible for both a General Merit Rank (GMR) and a Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). Paper 1 assesses Mathematics, while Paper 2 evaluates Physics and Chemistry. Each paper has a duration of 4 hours, with 2 hours allotted to each subject. In total, there are 155 questions across both papers.
The examination was conducted on April 28 in a pen-and-paper format at multiple centers. The model answer key was released on May 7, and objections regarding the OMR and response sheets were accepted from May 22 to May 24. Counselling is slated for July, though the precise date and time are yet to be disclosed. The final answer key will be published concurrently with the link to download the scorecard on wbresults.nic.in.
The board will announce the cut-off marks after the WBJEE 2024 results are declared. This year’s cut-off will be based on several factors including the number of applicants, seat availability, exam difficulty, test takers, and past cut-off trends.
