The Tamil Nadu Directorate of General Education (TNDGE) has published the TN 12th result 2024 today, May 6, 2024. It has been made available on tnresults.nic.in, the official website from 9:30 am onwards. Students who have appeared for the exam can also check the result through dge1.tn.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in, and dge.tn.gov.in, by entering their valid date of birth and registration number. The results can also be accessed via SMS and DigiLocker, once released.

Passing Marks for TNDGE 12th result 2024:
According to the marks pattern of the Tamil Board students need to get a minimum of 35 marks in theory. Students should secure a minimum of 25 out of 90 marks for languages and subjects which do not have practicals and for vocational subjects consisting of practicals only candidates need to have a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 marks in the practical exam.
Students must receive a minimum of 35 out of 100 marks in each subject to pass the Class 12 examinations. If a candidate fails to get the minimum marks they would have to sit for the supplementary exams. The supplementary exam is tentatively conducted in July, the dates will be declared after the announcement of the result. Following the announcement of the final results on dge.tn.gov.in, any candidate who is not satisfied with the result score or has questions regarding their marks in any subject may submit for a re-evaluation of their answer sheets.
Re-totalling of marks is also an option available to students who are unhappy with their TN board class 12 result 2024 or who think there may be a problem with the marks in the result. The accuracy of the mark calculation is guaranteed during this process. If any response was submitted by the board without being verified beforehand, it is verified and a grade is assigned to the candidate.
