The South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has invited online applications for the posts of apprentice. Eligible candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply through the official website of South Eastern Coalfields Limited at secl-cil.in. It must be noted that the last date to apply for the aforementioned posts is February 27, 2024.
SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
This recruitment drive is conducted by South Eastern Coalfields Limited to fill up a total of 1,425 posts in the organisation. Out of which, there are 350 posts for graduate apprentices and 1,075 for technician apprentices. The breakdown of the apprentice vacancies is as follows:

SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: To be eligible, a candidate must possess a 4-year degree for a graduate apprenticeship and a 3-year diploma in a relevant stream/ branch of engineering for a technician apprenticeship or equivalent qualification approved by a government-recognised institution. Furthermore, applicants should not have passed their engineering degree/ diploma five years before the date of joining as apprentices.
Age limit: Candidates should have completed 18 years of age as of February 13, 2024, to be eligible to apply.
SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for the posts on the basis of their passing date in engineering/ diploma. The provisionally selected candidates will be permitted for the training only after the verification of the documents and after being found fit in the medical examination.
It is to be noted that the document verification will take place from March 15 onwards. At the time of document verification, the candidates should carry their original documents like certificate and mark sheet of the secondary / higher secondary school qualification, certificate and mark sheets of degree in engineering or Diploma in engineering, caste certificate (OBC), Aadhar linked bank account, Aadhaar Card, etc. They should also bring with them one set of self-attested photocopies of the above documents, four passport-size photographs, and a notarised affidavit in the prescribed format
SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Salary Details
Candidates who will be selected in the South Eastern Coalfields Limited recruitment process will be paid a stipend at the minimum rate as per Rule 1 1(2) of Apprenticeships 1992, which is currently Rs 9,000 per month for Graduate apprentice and Rs. 8,000 per month for technician apprentice.
