The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released a comprehensive calendar for recruitment examinations to be held between October 2024 and June 2026. This announcement is a significant development for candidates preparing for government jobs in Rajasthan. The calendar includes details of 70 recruitment exams that will be conducted during this period, allowing candidates to better organise their study schedules and prepare accordingly.
Candidates can access the full calendar on the official RSMSSB website at www.rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The calendar is available in PDF format and contains all the necessary details about the recruitment exams, including the dates and results schedule. According to the calendar, 11 exams will be held between October and December 2024, followed by 54 in 2025 and 5 in 2026.
One of the key highlights is the Senior Secondary Level Eligibility Test, which is scheduled for October 22, 2024, with results expected on February 24, 2025. Additionally, the last recruitment exam on the calendar will be for the Tax Assistant position, slated for June 28, 2026.
Interestingly, the recruitment exams will not only take place on Sundays, as is traditionally the case, but also on regular working days. For instance, the Jail Prahari-2024 recruitment exam is scheduled for April 9, 11 and 12, 2025, with results due by October 12, 2025. Similarly, the Patwari recruitment exam is planned for May 10 and 11, 2025, with results expected on September 11, 2025. The Community Health Officer (CHO) recruitment exam will be conducted on June 6, 2026.
The release of this calendar follows an announcement by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who confirmed the recruitment of over 50,000 employees in the upcoming year. To meet this target, the RSMSSB and other recruitment agencies were instructed to expedite the process and issue the exam schedules promptly.
