The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the results for the Class 10 board exams today, April 18. This year, almost 2.9 lakh students sat the PSEB Class 10th board exams, which were held from February 13 to March 6. An official press conference was held to announce the PSEB class 10 results. The scorecards, however, will be released on the official website tomorrow, April 19. After logging in with their roll number and security code, students can now check their Punjab Board class 10 results on the official website at pseb.ac.in.

The pass percentage recorded this year is 97.24 per cent a slight dip from last year. In 2023, over 2.8 lakh students appeared for the PSEB class 10 exam and the pass percentage was recorded at 97.54 per cent In all, around 2,97,048 students had registered for the class 10 exam. Over 3,808 examination centres hosted the matric exam this year.
Aditi from Teja Singh Independent Senior Secondary School in Shimlapuri, Ludhiana, received a top score of 650 out of 650 in the class 10 exams. Obtaining 645 out of 650 marks, Alisha Sharma from Teja Singh Swatantra Memorial Senior Secondary School in Shimlapuri secured the second rank. Karmanpreet Kaur, who finished in third place, received 645 out of 650 marks.

To check the Punjab Board Matric Results 2024 online, students can follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Go to pseb.ac.in, the Punjab Board’s official website.
Step 2: Proceed to the home page and click on the “Result” tab.
Step 3: Now, select the “PSEB Class 10 Result 2024” link from the website.
Step 4: Fill out the required details, including your roll number and date of birth.
Step 5: Once completed, a new webpage will appear on the screen showing the PSEB Class 10 results 2024.
Students must receive a minimum of 33 percent overall as well as in each subject to pass the Punjab Board Class 10 exams. Students can apply for the supplementary exam, the date of which will be released soon, if they receive a failing grade in one or more subjects on their PSEB class 10 exam.
In the previous year’s PSEB Class 10 exam, girls performed far better than boys. Girls passed with a score of 98.46 per cent, and boys passed with 96.73 per cent.
