The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun accepting registrations for the stray round of counselling for the NEET Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) 2024. Eligible candidates who did not secure a seat in the initial rounds can register on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates who were not allocated a seat or did not secure one in the first three rounds of NEET MDS counselling are eligible to take part in the stray round. Registration will close on September 4, with payment options available until 7 PM on the same day.
According to the official schedule, candidates can select and submit their preferences until September 5. The choice-locking window will open at 8 PM on September 4 and remain accessible until 8 AM on September 5. The processing of seat allotment will occur between September 5 and 6, while the results will be announced on September 7. Candidates will be required to report from September 9 to 14.
The notice also states, “If a candidate is allotted a seat in the stray round, he/she has to report and join the allotted seat, college else he/she shall be debarred from NEET PG examination for subsequent one year along with forfeiture of the security deposit.”
MCC NEET MDS Counselling 2024 Stray Vacancy Round: How To Register
Step 1. Visit the official website of NEET MDS:mcc.nic.in.
Step 2. On the homepage, find and click on the link that reads, “NEET MDS Stray Vacancy Round.”
Step 3. On a new window, a form will be opened asking you to fill in your login details.
Step 4. Submit the applicate fee to complete your application.
Step 5. Don’t forget to save your login details after completing the payment, as you will need them for the choice-filling process.
Step 6. Choose your preferences during the choice-filling to complete your registration.
MCC NEET MDS Counselling 2024 Stray Vacancy Round: Fees
For the 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) and central universities, the registration fee for the General category is Rs 1,000 (non-refundable), while the tuition fee is Rs 25,000 (refundable). For SC, ST, and OBC categories, the registration fee is Rs 500 (non-refundable), while the tuition fee is Rs 10,000 (refundable). For deemed universities, the registration fee is Rs 5,000 (non-refundable) and the tuition fee is Rs 2,00,000 for all categories.
