The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell is gearing up to start registrations for Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) programmes from March 21. Eligible candidates can apply for the examination in the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. This MAH CET is the key to secure admissions in BCA, BBA, BMS and BBM programmes for the academic year 2024-25 and admission to these courses will be based on the results of the entrance examination.
Before proceeding to fill out the application form, it’s crucial for students to carefully review the eligibility specified for the respective courses. As per the criteria, students who have successfully cleared their Class 12 (HSC) exams or a similar examination, as well as those who are currently appearing for it, are eligible to apply.
According to the notification, applications must be submitted by April 11. It’s essential for eligible candidates to complete the MAH CET application form and submit the application fee within the provided time. Students who are eligible to take the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) exams can follow these simple steps to complete their application:
Step 1 – Go to the official Maharashtra CET website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Step 2 – Click on the MAH CET candidates portal.
Step 3 – Enter the required details in the provided link.
Step 4 – Complete the application form with accurate information.
Step 5 – Submit the application fee and click on the final submission link.
Admissions to Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) courses will be based on the marks obtained by students in the entrance exam.
Candidates must submit the application fee online and here’s a breakdown of the fee structure based on categories:
1 – Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) and J & K Migrant candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 1000.
2 – Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, EWS] & Persons with Disability Candidates (PWD) who are residents of Maharashtra State are required to pay an application fee of Rs 800.
