The IAF AFCAT 1 2024 exam will be conducted on February 16, 17 and 18, 2024 across India and is worth 300 marks

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will begin the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 exam 2024 today, February 16, 2024 onwards. The IAF AFCAT 1 2024 exam will be held on February 16, 17 and 18, 2024 at various examination centres across the country. Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to download the AFCAT 1 admit card 2024 on the official website, afcat.cdac.in. It must be noted that the candidates must carry their AFCAT 1 2024 admit card to their exam halls. Candidates without an AFCAT admit card 2024 will not be allowed to take the exam.

The AFCAT 2024 exam is worth 300 marks. A total of 100 questions are asked in this two-hour examination. All the questions are in objective form and are in English. The examination also has negative markings, i.e., one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

AFCAT 1 exam 2024: Important Documents

Along with the AFCAT 2024 admit card, candidates are required to bring one valid photo ID proof in original for verification purposes. The documents include a passport, two passport-size photographs, driving license, a Voter ID card, PAN card, Aadhar card.

AFCAT 1 2024 exam: General Guidelines For Students

–– Candidates are required to carry a valid original photo ID proof along with the admit card on the AFCAT 2024 exam day.

–– Candidates are advised to reach the AFCAT 1 2024 exam centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

–– Mobile phones, electronic devices, gadgets and accessories will not be allowed inside the AFCAT exam centre.

––Before appearing for the examination, candidates are advised to verify the AFCAT admit card 2024. If candidates find any details incorrect in the AFCAT 1 admit card 2024, they must contact the conducting authority helpline number as soon as possible to rectify the same.IAF

To appear for the AFCAT 2024, the candidate must have a 12th pass and be a graduate as well. If the candidate wants to go to the flying branch, then they should have passed 12th in the science stream with at least 50 per cent marks. Whereas for graduation, candidates from any branch are accepted with at least 60 per cent marks. Similarly, in other branches, the eligibility criteria vary as per the requirement.
