The Delhi University (DU) commenced the online application process for the postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates can now apply for the PG programmes by visiting the official website of DU at admission.uod.ac.in. As per the notification, the deadline to register for the DU PG programmes is May 25, 2024.
It is important to note that the university will allocate seats to all postgraduate programmes based on the Central University Entrance Test – Postgraduate (CUET PG) marks obtained. Candidates who passed the CUET PG 2024 exam are eligible to apply for admission to PG courses at Delhi University for the academic year 2024-25.
Admissions for DU PG seats will be completed this year for a total of 13,500 seats, including 120 seats for Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and 60 seats for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (BA LLB) and Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA LLB) courses. In addition, Hindu studies, public health, Chinese studies, Korean studies, and fine arts will also be offered as postgraduate programmes.
DU PG Admissions 2024: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website of DU at admission.uod.ac.in
Step 2: On the main page, search and click on the ‘PG admission’ link.
Step 3: Then fill out the application form and pay the mandatory admission fee.
Step 4: Upload all the essential documents and click on submit to complete the application process.
DU PG Admissions 2024: Application Fee
According to a notification from Delhi University, students in the General, OBC, and EWS categories must pay a fee of Rs 250, while SC, ST, and PWD applicants must pay Rs 100. However, those filling out forms under the sports supernumerary quota must pay an additional Rs 100.
Candidates must complete the payment process as soon as the seat allocation list is released to validate their allocation before the deadline. The university also makes arrangements for spot admissions for any open seats. The complete schedule for the admissions process will be made available on the CSAS website shortly. Candidates will have to participate in a group discussion and a personal interview to assess their skills and grasp of their selected programme.
