The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released the recruitment notice for the State Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) Phase 3 on February 7. As per the official notice, the online application process for BPSC TRE Phase 3 will commence on February 10, and will conclude on February 23. Interested candidates can apply for the BPSC TRE Phase 3 exam by visiting the official website of the commission at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Meanwhile, candidates can submit their applications for primary (Classes 1–5), middle (Classes 6–8), secondary (Classes 9–10), and high secondary (Classes 11–12) teacher positions until February 25, 2024, with a late fee. The Commission has scheduled the BPSC TRE Phase 3 exam in March 2024. It is slated to be held from March 7 to March 17. Furthermore, the BPSC TRE Phase 4 will be conducted in August this year.
The number of vacancies available for this recruitment will be announced on the Commission’s website in due course. However, according to Times of India, BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad during a press conference declared that there could be around 87,000 vacancies this year.
BPSC TRE Phase 3 Exam: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the position of Primary Teacher (Classes 1–5) must be at least 18 years old, while candidates applying for the positions of Middle School Teacher (Classes 6–8), TGT (Classes 9–10), and PGT (Classes 11–12) must be 21 years old. As of August 1, 2023, the upper age limit for all male candidates is 37 years, and for female candidates it is 40.
BPSC TRE Phase 3 Exam: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Go to the BPSC official website at www.bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the “Recruitment” or “Latest Announcements” section. Then search for the ‘Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024’ notification and click on it.
Step 3: Click on the link provided to access the online application form, usually onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.
Step 4: Fill out the application form by providing all details.
Step 5: Upload all the scanned copies of mandatory documents.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and cross-check all the details.
Step 7: Finally, submit the form.
BPSC TRE Phase 3 Exam: Application Fee
Those registering for the BPSC TRE Phase 3 exam need to pay an application fee of Rs 750. But female applicants as well as those belonging to the reserved category have to pay Rs 200 as a registration fee. In addition, the biometric fee for all applying categories is Rs 200.
