The film Main Atal Hoon, based on the life of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was released on Friday, January 19. The trailer and songs of this movie had already piqued interest in the film earlier. Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi has played the role of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the first reviews that have come out have been largely positive. Pankaj Tripathi’s performance has been well-lauded.
Main Atal Hoon is the second Hindi feature film directed by Ravi Jadhav, who works predominantly in Marathi cinema. He had earlier directed the Hindi film Banjo which sank without a trace and the web series Taali starring Sushmita Sen. While both Pankaj and Ravi Jadhav have received unanimous praise, Jadhav’s colleague in the Marathi industry and actor Prasad Oak has also jumped on the bandwagon and praised them in a social media post.
Prasad Oak attended the premiere of the film and shared some pictures with Ravi Jadhav and Pankaj Tripathi from the premiere. In his caption, he called Main Atal Hoon Ravi Jadhav’s best film to date and praised the script, dialogue, cinematography, background music, acting and direction.
Oak called Pankaj Tripathi not just an actor but a university. “Main Atal Hoon is a lesson worth taking,” he added. He also proclaimed that yet another National Award was confirmed for Ravi Jadhav and wished the entire team of Main Atal Hoon.
