When Producer Sa Ra Govindu Questioned The Film Knowledge Of Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu
Controversy erupted when Chandrababu Naidu criticised Dr. Rajkumar and his acting skills, provoking his fanbase.

Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandra Babu Naidu, has found himself embroiled in controversy related to his comments on legendary actor Rajkumar, despite his lack of connections to the film industry and numerous political setbacks. The clash between producer Sara Govindu and Naidu stemmed from his remarks during the inauguration of Sr. NTR’s statue in Palnadu.

During this event, Chandra Babu Naidu asserted that no actor other than Sr. NTR could effectively portray iconic roles such as Lord Sri Krishna, Lord Venkateswara, and Bheema. In response, Sa Ra Govindu, President of the Dr. Rajkumar Fans Association, expressed his exasperation, asserting that Naidu lacked a deep understanding of Rajkumar’s cinematic legacy. Govindu emphasized that making statements without comprehending the historical context would be a grave error.

Dr Rajkumar’s unparalleled ability to portray legendary characters has left an indelible mark on Indian cinema, and while others may have attempted such roles, none could match his excellence. Chandrababu Naidu, who recognizes Sr. NTR’s acting prowess, may not fully appreciate Rajkumar’s unique contributions to this genre. Notably, in the past, Sr. NTR himself acknowledged Rajkumar’s greatness as an actor, a fact seemingly unknown to Naidu. Rajkumar’s eminence is widely acknowledged by the entertainment industry and audiences alike.

In a surprising turn of events, Chandrababu Naidu was arrested around 6 AM at R K Function Hall in Gnanapuram, Nandyala town, Andhra Pradesh. His arrest is reportedly linked to an alleged corruption case, confirmed by the state police on a Saturday morning.

Naidu faces charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 120B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), and 465 (forgery), according to PTI reports. Furthermore, the Andhra Pradesh Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has invoked the Prevention of Corruption Act against him, issuing a notice under CrPC Section 50(1)(2).

The CID alleges that Naidu is the primary accused in an investigation that implicates him and the Telugu Desam Party as beneficiaries of misappropriated funds. It is suggested that Naidu played a key role in a scheme that facilitated the transfer of public funds to private entities through shell companies, resulting in losses for the public exchequer and illicit gains for private individuals, including Vikas Khanvilkar. The ultimate utilization of these misappropriated funds remains a subject for further investigation.
