A couple who recently moved to Bengaluru from north Karnataka’s Belagavi was repeatedly slapped, pushed to the ground, and kicked by their neighbours for parking a car in front of their house. The incident reportedly took place on Sunday night when the victims, identified as Rohini and Sahishnu were tortured and physically assaulted by their neighbours all because of a parking issue.
The incident caught on camera by one of the neighbours, shows two men thrashing, and pushing the victim while he tries to fight back. The duo in the video are captured kicking the man mercilessly and pushing him to the ground. The victim’s partner also came to rescue him and was seen screaming for help, when a woman assaulter chased her with a slipper in hand and hit her.

In the video, a neighbour also screamed and asked the accused to stop hitting the man, however, they continued. The woman said, “You don’t have the right to hit me. We are going to the police station” as she continued to scream for help from neighbours.
Another woman assaulter tried to strip the girl’s top off and hit her repeatedly. She even told the victims to move out of the city. A neighbour shared the video on microblogging site X and tagged the Bengaluru police. The cops forwarded the case to the HAL Police Station who arrested all the accused.
The couple moved into an apartment in the area just a day ago, reported NDTV, adding that police have registered a case against three people after the video went viral on social media. They are charged under Sections 354, 324 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
