Prithviraj Sukumaran Shares Update On Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire Ahead Of Its  Release
Prithviraj Sukumaran shared an Instagram post to share that he dubbed for his character Varadha in five languages.

One of the highly anticipated movies of the year, Salaar is gearing up for its release on December 22. The film featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prabhas and Shruti Haasan will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam. Ahead of its release, actor Prithviraj shared an update about the film with his fans, thereby increasing the excitement of fans who are already waiting with bated breath to watch the film on screen.

Prithviraj Sukumaran shared an Instagram post that he dubbed for his character Varadha in five languages. He wrote, “#Salaar Final dubbing corrections done. I have had the privilege of lending my own voice for all my characters across various languages I’ve worked in over the years. I have even dubbed for some of my characters in multiple languages. But dubbing for the same character, in the same film in 5 different languages is a first for me. Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and of course Malayalam. And what a film to do it for! Deva and Varadha will meet you in theatres across the world on the 22nd of December 2023.”

As reported earlier, Salaar will release in two parts. The first part titled Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will feature Prabhas as Deva whereas Prithviraj will be essaying the role of Varadharaja Mannar. In addition to that, Jagapathi Babu will be playing Rajamannar, Prithviraj’s father. On the other hand, Shruti Haasan plays Aadya in the film.

Produced under the banner of Hombale Films, Salaar has been reportedly made on a budget of Rs 400 crore. The movie is written and directed by Prashanth Neel who earned widespread fame for KGF. Fans are excited to witness the magic that the dynamic duo is expected to create on screen.

The movie displays the fictional city of Khansaar which has been captured by a group of invaders. As they seize control over the city, Prithviraj Sukumaran, portraying the heir Vardharaja Mannaar, finds his rule abruptly disrupted. To fight the invaders, Mannaar calls upon Deva who had pledged to protect him and his people. Deva returns to Khansaar seeking vengeance for a rightful heir and his close friend.
