The highly-anticipated season 10 of the popular Kannada TV show, Bigg Boss, will start on October 8th. The countdown to the commencement of this renowned reality show, hosted by Kichcha Sudeep, is now underway. Television audiences are eagerly anticipating the broadcast of Bigg Boss on Colors Kannada.
There’s also a surprise name making rounds, generating a lot of curiosity. Indeed, rumour has it that a well-known former cricketer from Karnataka, who was part of Team India, might also be joining Bigg Boss this season. The buzz about the renowned Kannadiga cricketer Vinay Kumar potentially participating in the 10th season of Bigg Boss is making waves on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
It’s worth noting that neither Colors Kannada channel nor cricketer Vinay Kumar has officially confirmed this news. Nevertheless, these rumours are spreading rapidly, creating quite a buzz, and it seems many people are excited at the prospect of Vinay Kumar joining the show.
Indeed, Vinay Kumar, born in the Davangere district of Karnataka, is a well-known figure in Indian cricket. He gained fame as a right-arm medium-fast bowler and made his international debut in 2008 when he played his first One Day International (ODI) match against Zimbabwe.
Vinay Kumar is affectionately known as the Davangere Express due to his roots. He had a notable stint with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, in 2023, he bid farewell to his professional cricket career.
Recently, several names have been circulating on social media as potential contestants for Season 10 of Bigg Boss. These include actresses like Megha Shetty, Rekha, Asha Bhatt, and Namrata Gowda, actor Suneel Raoh, singer Ishani, YouTuber Nikhil, and Instagram reel sensation Bhumika Basavaraj. Additionally, television actor Gowrav Shetty’s name has also come up in connection with the show.
Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 faced challenges with its TRP ratings, reportedly experiencing the lowest viewership since the show’s inception. This decline has been linked to the format that seemingly favoured former participants, leading to most of the names also coming up in connection with the show.
