Kannada actor Vijay Raghavendra’s wife Spandana died at the age of 44 in Bangkok on August 7 due to cardiac arrest. Her demise at such a young age left the entertainment industry in shock. This unfortunate incident has shattered Spandana’s family members, especially her husband Vijay. He has been participating in the promotions of his upcoming film Kaddha Chitra, which will be released on September 8. At one of the promotional events, Vijay recalled how his wife had prepared a blueprint for him to live life. Vijay said that he used to consult with Spandana on every matter and now there is no one to guide him through tough times. “An emptiness has engulfed me. Dealing with this now is my next biggest challenge. I am completely blank. I don’t know how to live with this emptiness,” said Vijay.
He remembered how Spandana was there with him during most of the tasks he performed in the day and they used to enjoy discussions on many issues. Vijay Raghavendra said that now, no one cares to ask him when he will return from shooting. He took a stroll down memory lane and recalled how Spandana persuaded him to return home soon. Vijay said that he will follow the things taught to him by his wife from now onwards.
Vijay added that he had sent her a glimpse of his character from the film Kaddha Chitra. Spandana was happy and messaged him, “Nice.. Good Pa”. According to Vijay, Spandana used to keep her replies short only, no matter how big his message was.
Vijay further said that Spandana taught him how to not feel discouraged by the tepid response to his films. According to him, his wife taught him that he should not feel dejected or cry even after the failure of a project. Vijay recalled that Spandana would convince him to accompany her every time she planned a trip. He felt that he should have not obliged her request when she made plans for the Bangkok trip.
