Brothers Sai Kumar, P Ravi Shankar and Ayyappa Sharma are well-known names in the Kannada film industry. Now, as per the latest reports, a younger family member is going to enter the film industry.
P Ravi Shankar’s son Adhvey Shankar is going to make his debut in the Kannada film industry. According to reports, his father is going to direct the film and he has also penned the screenplay. Previously, he has also directed his brother, Ayyapa Sharma and now he is going to be collaborating with his son.
The film’s tentative title is Production No. 2. The story is set in a mysterious and mystical world. As per reports, the official title of the film is scheduled to be announced on October 23 in Bangalore. A motion poster for the movie has also been planned for the film. The producers of the film are Tirumala Reddy and Anil Kadiyal.
The director and father of the debuting actor P Ravi Shankar is also popularly known as Sai Ravi. He has worked as an actor, a dubbing artist, a director and a writer. He mainly appears in Kannada films, along with Tamil and Telugu movies.
He made his debut in the film industry with the movie Alochinchandi in 1986. It was directed by R Narayana Murthy. After that, he was cast in supporting roles in films like Madhura Nagarilo and Keechurallu. As he had no offers for some time, he entered the industry again with the 2001 film Tholi Valapu, which was Gopi Chand’s debut.
Sai Ravi then ventured into the profession of dubbing and since then he has dubbed in over 3,500 films. In films, he finally gained recognition from the 2011 film Kempe Gowda, with the role of a villain. It was directed by Kichcha Sudeep. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor- Kannada.
