Tata Motors seems to be ready to launch a new variant of their sub-4 metre compact sedan Tigor as per pictures that have been doing rounds on social media. The new Tata Tigor variant will be badged as the Tigor Buzz which would be indicated by a badge with the same name at the back of the car.
The new variant is expected to give the Tigor some visual updates on the exteriors as well as the interiors. As seen in the pictures, the Tigor Buzz will come with a blacked-out roof as well as a blacked-out outside rearview mirror housing. Inside the Tata Tigor Buzz, the change would come in the form of red accents on the AC vents.
As seen in the pictures, the variant comes with a non-touchscreen infotainment system, indicating that the Buzz variant will be based on the existing XM mid-variant of the Tigor and not the top-spec model. The car is also expected to come with red accents on the wheels as well as the front grille.
On the mechanical front, the car will remain unchanged. It will be available with a choice of a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine which makes 84 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, or, a 1.05-litre three-cylinder diesel engine capable of making 70 bhp and 140 Nm of torque.
Transmission duties could be handled by the existing 5-speed transmission unit for both the engines. As for those wanting to have the Tigor Buzz with the 5-speed AMT gearbox, it could be offered alongside the petrol engine-powered trim.
