"Modified Maruti Suzuki Jimny transforms into a G-Wagon lookalike with Brabus kit, altering exterior, interior, and accessories, garnering online attention.

Since Maruti Suzuki India launched the Jimny in June this year, several buyers have made some eye-catching modifications to the premium SUV.

There were people, who had imported mod kits from international markets to alter the exterior of Jimny, converting it into a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. One of such mods has been garnering traction across the internet.

An Instagram page named Car Crazy India first dropped a photograph of the black Maruti Suzuki Jimny, which has been given the look of a G-Wagon with the help of some premium conversion accessories.

According to the post, the SUV has been modified by a Ludhiana-based auto retailer named Sikand Car. Apart from the outer design, the interior of the car has also been altered as the newly-designed cabin is entirely different from that of the standard Jimny. The interior has been decorated in two colour tones- white and crimson red. The lower dashboard, seats, door panels, and the top half of the dashboard are all wrapped in red leather, while the bottom dashboard is painted white.

In the modded Jimny, the front fascia of the standard model has been replaced with a similar-looking component of a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. It has been customised by Brabus, which is a Germany-based high-performance automotive aftermarket tuning company, doing business since 1977. They are specialised in tuning and modifying various models of Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, and Range Rovers. The price of the original Brabus kit for the G-Wagon is nearly 32,000-50,000 dollars.

Brabus produces ABS kits by using their in-house Carbon Fiber and the components can easily change the look of any luxurious cards. In the customised Jimny, the logo of the Maruti Suzuki brand has been replaced with a Brabus B emblem. Changes have also been made to the front fenders, which are now equipped with Brabus-styled vents. The fresh design of the headlight housing looks amazing in the modded Jimny as it gets circular LED DRLs.

The 15-inch alloy wheels of the standard Jimny have been removed, with a new set of high-gloss ones taking their places. Similar to the frontal one, the car has got a new rear bumper. The other additions to the rear-end design include Brabus-styled vents, a new Brabus wheel cover and LED taillights.
