Hero Motocorp, one of India’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, has kickstarted the festive season with the delivery of its flagship motorcycle, the Karizma XMR.
After garnering an overwhelming response with 13,688 bookings during its initial phase, the company is set to open a new booking window to meet the soaring demand.
The Karizma XMR marks a significant milestone for Hero MotoCorp as it revives its iconic nameplate while introducing cutting-edge features and design elements. The motorbike was first available for purchase for Rs. 1.73 lakh(ex-showroom). But now that the prices have been adjusted, it costs Rs. 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Karizma XMR boasts a powerful 210 cc, single-cylinder engine with a state-of-the-art liquid-cooling system – a first for Hero MotoCorp. This dynamic engine churns out an impressive 25.15 bhp of peak power and 20.4 Nm of maximum torque. Coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, the motorcycle ensures smooth gear transitions and enhanced control.
Innovative features set the Karizma XMR apart from its competitors. The bike is equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled fully digital console, providing riders with real-time information and connectivity options. Additionally, it introduces a two-step adjustable windscreen, a USB charger for on-the-go device charging, and a two-tone colour scheme for a stylish appearance.
One of the standout features of the Karizma XMR is its turn-by-turn navigation system, a first in its segment. Hero MotoCorp has elevated the riding experience by integrating this advanced navigation technology, enhancing convenience and safety for riders.
The Karizma XMR exudes a sporty aura with its aggressive styling, highlighted by sharp LED headlamps and Daytime Running Lamps. The sleek LED tail lamp and turn indicators add a touch of modernity to the bike’s design. With narrow tail sections and a split setup, the motorcycle radiates an athletic appeal.
Hero MotoCorp offers the Karizma XMR in three colour options – Iconic Yellow, Matte Red and Phantom Black. Each colour variant enhances the bike’s visual appeal.
Underpinning the Karizma XMR is a robust steel trellis frame, ensuring stability and control at high speeds. The motorcycle features telescopic forks at the front and a preload adjustable mono-shock at the rear, delivering a smooth and responsive ride. The dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) further enhances safety which provides effective braking in all conditions.
