In a move to push the EV culture in the state, the Collector of NTR District in Andhra Pradesh, Shri Dilli Rao, collaborated with Ramana Reddy, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP).
It has been informed that the sole purpose of the decision is to spread the roots and awareness about electric mobility in the state.
NTR District Joints Hands With NREDCAP
As per the details shared by the officials, the partnership will create and establish the required EV infrastructure in the state, and will encourage the NTR district residents to choose electric-power vehicles over fuel ones.
NTR District Collector Pushing EV Culture
This is not the first trim Rao has taken the decision to partner with an entity to promote EV culture in the state. Earlier, he collaborated with multiple stakeholders, including government agencies, private organizations, and local communities, to foster the adoption of electric vehicles.
Rao also has been educating the residents of the NTR district about the benefits of electric mobility by organizing awareness campaigns, workshops, and public events. He has been putting efforts to burst misconceptions about electric mobility for quite a long time.
All About NREDCAP
In case if you are not aware, NREDCAP has been investing great efforts in establishing robust charging infrastructure for EVs. In order to grow the NTR District in terms of electric mobility, it is installing charging stations in some of the important locations.
Their aim is to alleviate range anxiety among people and provide them with a reliable convenient charging network.
