Seth Rollins returned, Drew McIntyre quit WWE on the latest episode of RAW.

WWE Monday Night Raw action made a return yesterday, June 17. The show aired live from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The weekly live event featured all the major updates from the company’s recent WWE Clash At The Castle premium live event hosted last Saturday in Glasgow, Scotland. For starters, Seth ‘Freaking’ Rollins made an electric return to the company. As for wrestling action, the night began with a one-on-one fixture between Braun Strowman and Chad Gable. Drew McIntyre announced an expected exit from the company. Finally, Jey Uso squared off against Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor for a shot at the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase ladder match.

Seth Rollins returns to WWE

Seth Rollins made a surprise return to the WWE after a long hiatus due to injury. The crowd starts singing the ex-World Heavyweight Champion’s name. Rollins then welcomed the fans to the show before revealing why he was back. Rollins said he was in the wrestling business to be the best of all time. He then added that he wouldn’t be able to do that without getting back the championship he made. His words led to the current World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest making his way to the ring. Priest then told Rollins that the ex-champion could have his title shot at Money In The Bank.

Drew McIntyre quits WWE

On the night’s second promo, Scottish wrestling star Drew McIntyre attempted to address the Texas crowd. However, the fans kept chanting CM Punk’s name to prevent McIntyre from speaking. The Scotsman grew visibly frustrated and said he couldn’t do it anymore. He dropped the microphone after saying that he quit. McIntyre then started walking away from the stage. Adam Pearce met him backstage to talk some sense into the star. However, McIntyre just wasn’t willing to listen and said he was done. Triple H also tried to talk to the WWE superstar but he wasn’t interested.

Jey Uso qualifies for the WWE Money In The Bank 2024 ladder Match

Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor squared off on Raw’s main event for a spot at the WWE Men’s Money In The Bank Briefcase ladder match. The action quickly spilt out of the ring as the match was underway. Soon Mysterio was attacked by Dominik and McDonagh who took him out of the match. Balor took advantage and landed a double stomp off the top. Next, Balor pinned Mysterio but Jey broke it up. He then landed a Uso Splash to seal a pinfall victory. As Jey celebrated, the lights went out and Uncle Howdy appeared out of nowhere. Howdy then blew off his lantern as the show went off air.

Braun Stroman vs Chad Gable – Strowman secured a pinfall victory with a power slam.

IYO SKY vs Kiana James vs Zelina Vega in a Vega Money In The Bank Qualifying Match – IYO SKY sealed a win via pinfall off the diving moonsault to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Carlito vs Dragon Lee – Carlito won by pinfall using the Backstabber.

Damage CTRL vs Katana Chance and Kayden Carter – Katana Chance and Kayden Carter hit the Afterparty to win the match by pinfall.

Bron Breakker vs Sheamus – Sheamus won the match via disqualification.

Finn Balor vs Jey Uso vs Rey Mysterio in the Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Jey hit Balor with the diving splash to qualify for the Money in the Bank.
