This week’s episode of WWE RAW, which took place at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, saw Becky Lynch defend her NXT Women’s Title against Tegan Nox. Nia Jax and Raquel Rodriguez, on the other hand, were also involved in a bout on the latest edition of WWE RAW. In the main event of the Monday night RAW, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defended their WWE Undisputed Tag Team titles against the partnership of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Last night’s Monday Night RAW kicked off with a clip recapping the events from last week’s Fastlane pay-per-view. In the opening encounter of the night, Ivar and Kofi Kingston were involved in a Viking Rules Match.
Ivar vs Kofi Kingston
The battle between Ivar and Kofi Kingston was quite enthralling and the fight also witnessed weapons being used by the two opponents. Kingston went for Trouble in Paradise but his move proved to be detrimental. Ivar came up with a moonsault to get the better of the former WWE champion.
Nia Jax vs Raquel Rodriguez
Two prolific wrestlers—Nia Jax and Raquel Rodriguez—fought against each other on this week’s episode of RAW. With the two fighters getting involved in a highly intense physical duel, the battle did impress the crowd. But Rhea Ripley’s intervention damaged the momentum. Rodriguez had to be disqualified, eventually, after Ripley attacked Jax.
Ricochet vs Bronson Reed vs Chad Gable
With an aim to earn a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Ricochet, Bronson Reed and Chad Gable featured in a triple threat match on Monday night RAW. Despite being opponents, Gable and Ricochet were spotted fighting together against Reed. The ploy, however, did not work as Reed succeeded in emerging victorious. Reed delivered a Tsunami splash from the top rope to clinch a sensational win.
Drew McIntyre vs JD McDonagh
Drew McIntyre managed to mostly dominate last night’s match until Dominik Mysterio came up with a distraction. But Dominik’s involvement did not deter McIntyre from claiming a win. He produced a Future Shock DDT and a Claymore Kick to get the better of his opponent.
Becky Lynch vs Tegan Nox
The title decider between Becky Lynch and Tegan Nox turned out to be quite exciting with the latter appearing better than her opponent. But Lynch still managed to retain her WWE NXT Women’s title. Lynch made Nox tap out after pulling off the Dis-Arm-Her.
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens
In the main event of the night, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens attempted to clinch the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship by defeating title holders Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. But Sami and Owens’ attempt turned out to be futile. Jey and Rhodes delivered The Cody Cutter/1D Combination on Owens to emerge champions.
