Even though tigers, cheetahs, leopards, and lions all belong to the feline family, they are far from cute in terms of their behaviour. Despite the dangers associated with petting these wild cats, there are numerous people who keep them as pets. Many of them keep these animals near them so that they can learn about and observe the feline family. But, sometimes keeping them close can turn out to be dangerous, as they can brutally attack humans. Recently, a video has been making rounds on social media where a man was attacked by his pet cheetah. The video has again sparked the debate over whether wild animals should be kept as pets or not.
In a video going viral on social media platform Instagram, it was found that a man was seen petting a cheetah at his home. However, things took a drastic turn when the same wild animal attacked its owner. In the video, it can be seen that two men are sitting on a couch with a cheetah seated between them. The wild cat appears to be like a pet animal. However, Cheetah, being the sharp predator, suddenly attacks one of the men and growls at him. The man suddenly stands up and gives the cheetah a strange look. Later, the man shows everyone where he was attacked by the wild cat. The clip was uploaded on Instagram with the caption, “Cheetah Attack.”
As soon as the clip was uploaded, it instantly went viral and sparked debate among social media users. Many people were against petting wild animals and went to the comments section to express their views. A user wrote, “He better be lucky he ain’t bite him after that.” Another commented, “It is a wild animal. Not a pet. Respect animals!!”
So far, the viral clip has gotten 89.6 million views on Instagram.
Meanwhile, another clip was shared by the user where a young boy was roaming around with a chained tiger. While the big cat appears calm, it unexpectedly snaps at the young boy, who gets scared.
