Social media is a vibrant platform where people engage in a range of trends. Among these trends, lip-syncing to famous dialogues has become quite common. Now, a fresh wave dominates the internet with users across platforms intrigued by a catchy dialogue by a Rajasthan-based influencer named Anju Yadav.

The viral dialogue humorously twists the popular Hindi idiom, “Ek kaan se sunakr dusre kaan se nikal dena (Listen from one ear and let it go from the other).” It reads, “Pehle mein ek kaan se sunkar dusre se nikaal det thi, toh mujhe sab log aake suna jaate the. Lekin mein dono kaano se sunti hu aur barrabar mu se nikaal thi hu. Majaal hai ki koi mere muh b lag jaaye (Earlier, I used to listen with one ear and let it out through the other, so everyone would come and yell on me. But then, I started listening with both ears and let it out through my mouth. Now, no one dare mess with me).”

The trend has swept across the online community attracting even popular celebrities to join in. Recently, Korean singer Aoora, a member of the popular South Korean boy band Double-A, embraced the trend with a hilarious twist. Aoora transformed himself into a married Punjabi aunty complete with a shawl draped like a ghoonghat. With perfect comedic timing, he lip-synced to the trending dialogue. He captioned the video with, “Korean punjabi ajumma lifestyle tips! One listening – not good Two listening and talking best What do u all do?”

His playful take on the trend quickly went viral on the internet, accumulating over 1.4 million views and delighting fans across the internet.

Even actress Gauahar Khan joined on the fun. She created a video and shared it on Instagram with a witty caption: “True story !!! but on a lighter note ! #evolutionofgauahar.” Her video has garnered over 8.7 million views to date.
