UK Woman, Clinically Dead For 40 Minutes, Tells What She Saw

Have you ever wondered about life after death? It’s an unexplored world, and individuals are bound to be curious about it. While not all questions can be answered, a woman from North Yorkshire has shared her short-lived after-death experience. Yes, you read that right. Kirsty Bortoft, a mother of three children, was discovered lifeless on the sofa by her husband, Stu. Doctors revived her after 40 minutes, but Kirsty claims she witnessed numerous things during that time. While this was a scary phase for her family, she learned a life lesson.

Kirsty Bortoft overcame a major medical hurdle and defied the odds by surviving despite a slim prospect of recovery. She overcame three heart attacks and was placed in a medically induced coma, according to a report by Metro. She recalled, “The first night was crucial, and it wasn’t looking good. Stu was told he should prepare for me not making it, but he wasn’t having any of it.”

She narrated that apart from my immediate family, no one knew what was going on. But one of her psychiatrist friends contacted her sister and inquired about the situation. She claimed that Kirsty’s soul was in her front room and was requesting that she make lists for her children and husband. “I told my friend that my body was breaking down and I didn’t think I could get back into it, but she got stern with me and told me to go back,” said Kirsty about the events that transpired while she was unconscious. On the other hand, her family at the hospital was told to prepare themselves for the worst.

Kirsty mentioned in the report that she immediately called for Stu after coming out of her comatose state. Scans revealed that there was no damage to her heart or lungs a few weeks after her near-death encounter.

The woman said, “I recall, upon finally coming back into my body, that I knew exactly what I needed to do to heal, like a download of information. I realised you don’t die; only your body moves on, and that my mission here isn’t over yet.” When the doctor asked her how she healed so fast, she narrated her story. Kirsty further mentioned that she left the hospital “elated” and happy after her recovery.
