The familiar saying “Honesty is the best policy” seems to have lost its prominence, especially in workplaces where dishonesty appears to be on the rise. People sometimes lie on their resumes to seem more qualified when they actually don’t have much work experience or if they want to make themselves stand out in a jam-packed employment sector. Lying entails fabricating qualifications or exaggerating facts about your schooling, certificates and skills. Sooner or later, your employer will discover the truth behind your resume. In this instance, the girl’s resume listed dance as one of her hobbies.
Many people often list unrelated activities on their resumes, like reading, watching movies, dancing, and singing, assuming they won’t be relevant to their job and the employer would never ask them to perform those activities in the workplace. Less, but not zero, because the viral video shows a girl dancing in the meeting room. How probable is it that she included dancing as a hobby on her resume? We’re not sure, but the description that goes with it implies, “POV: you wrote “dance” as your hobby in your resume.”
The girl in the video is seen dancing while everyone else watches her. Fortunately, she did not lie on her resume and received a round of applause at the end of her performance. Notably, the girl was dancing to Sonam Kapoor’s O Rangrez, which is featured in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
The video, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter), has more than 72,000 views on the social media platform.

Commenters gave a variety of explanations for why they thought someone would be dancing in the conference room. A user playfully suggested, “She’s in the marketing team I guess.”
