Not just Indians, foreigners too feel that its energy and vibe are something that are hard to resist. There are several such videos of foreigners performing Bhangra that have become popular on social media. Adding to the bandwagon is a recent video of a UK man’s on-point bhangra moves during Baisakhi festivities.
Shared on Instagram, the video opens with a man showcasing his amazing Bhangra skills to an upbeat Punjabi tune, drawing cheers from the bystanders. In the clip, the man captivates the guests present at the festivities with his energetic and effortless traditional Indian dance moves. With other onlookers cheering for him, the man could be seen thoroughly enjoying his dance.
The video caption reads, “A little snippet of this guy and his fabulous dancing at last weekend’s Vaisakhi Celebrations. He’s getting so much love on our TT page, we had to share it here too.”
Soon after the clip of the man’s high spirited bhangra performance was shared online, it grabbed users’ attention. Several netizens swamped down the comment section and applauded the man’s dance skills. A user commented, “Love it, he dances with heart and soul.” Another user said, “Now this is what I call immersing yourself in different cultures! Baisakhi or Vaisakhi, is a traditional Indian festival that holds a religious importance for the Sikh community. The festival is commemorated by wearing traditional outfits and performing folk dances and songs. This year, the festival was celebrated on April 13.
Earlier, a similar video went viral, in which an elderly man performed Bhangra at a fair in the United Kingdom. In the clip, the man showcased his bhangra skills on a Punjabi song, drawing attention from other visitors at the fair.
