Woman shares pic of Air India flight to Singapore littered with plastic waste, criticises passengers' civic sense in viral post.

In yet another episode of messy and unsatisfactory flight experiences, a photo of a littered Air India flight has gone viral, sparking discussions about passengers’ lack of civic sense. The picture, shared by ‘X’ user Manisha Singhal, shows a plastic bottle wrapped in a polybag tossed on the floor along with bits of other trash.

Kucch bhi karr lo, hum nahi sudhrenge!!!! (No matter what, we just won’t change!) And nope, not a domestic flight- this is international,  Air India flight – naya yaa puraana aircraft – sabko ek saa pyaar dete hain hum! (Old or new aircraft, we love them all the same!) This is the @airindia Dreamliner to Singapore — rather a nightmare! When . Will . We . Be . Civil,” she lamented in her post, mentioning that the picture came from a passenger on the flight.

Her post quickly went viral, drawing numerous reactions. “I wonder if these people will tolerate this in their house. What changes in a plane or road. Downright immoral!” wrote one. “Indian tourists nowadays going way beyond and then we expect Cleanliness and Behaviour everywhere. And also remember, Civic Sense don’t come with money,” another added. “Ughh Ppl who are wealthy enough to afford to fly to Singapore why do they totally disregard inflight civic responsibilities ?” said a third.

Previously, Aditya Kondawar, an author and vice president of a startup, shared his frustrating experience on an Air India flight from Bengaluru to Pune. He was so fed up that he vowed never to fly with the airline again, even if it meant paying more or considering other means of travel, like a bullock cart.

Kondawar explained his frustration, detailing how his flight, scheduled for 9:50 pm, finally took off around 12:15 am. “The flight was stinking, and the seats were so dirty and full of stains.” Kondawar, who holds the Tata Group and its leaders in high regard, expected better and called the experience a “disaster.”

He further wrote, “Thank you for teaching me a very valuable lesson last night,” addressing Air India and said, “Never, and I mean it seriously—I am never flying Air India Express or Air India again. I will pay 100% extra if needed but will choose other airlines that are on time (only two other options anyway).”
