Snoop Dogg recently participated in a 200m trial race alongside Olympic medalists in Oregon, US. The rapper paid tribute to the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant. Despite facing tough competition from Olympic medalists Ato Bolden and Wallace Spearmon, Snoop Dogg finished third place with a time of 34.44 seconds. Soon after catching his breath, the rapper joined the commentary team and offered viewers a preview of what to expect when he would appear as a guest commentator for NBC at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
At the end of the race, Spearmon took the lead, while Bolden completed the run in second place. Meanwhile, other than his commentary duties at Olympics 2024, Snoop Dogg will be attending various events, exploring iconic spots in the host city and speaking with athletes, their loved ones and supporters. For those not aware, this isn’t Snoop Dogg’s debut as a commentator, he secured this role following his highly successful commentary during the 2021 Tokyo games, where he teamed up with Kevin Hart to deliver memorable coverage. Sharing a video of the race on Instagram, Snoop wrote, “First time want be my last time to get a better time.”

Oh, he jumped on the top of the hurdle. You can do that? That was a cool trick right there. I liked that one. He went off the tippy-top.”
